I'm a graduate of The University of Texas at Arlington (Go Mavs!), where I earned my B.A. in Communication Technology (web design/development and UI/UX design). I'm a certified user experience designer, receiving my UX design certificate from Southern Methodist University in 2019.
My inherent capacity to learn and adapt allows me to work efficiently and effectively in a collaborative team environment. I enjoy interacting with people and making them feel comfortable and at ease.
I specialize primarily in front-end web design/development and UI design with fluency in web languages, frameworks, and architectures like HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, React, jQuery, Bootstrap, and more. My well-rounded skills include grid-based web layouts, UI/UX design, user-focused design, graphic design, fluid web design, Git/version control environments, journey mapping, user research, user testing, wireframing, mockups, prototypes, site maps, style tiles, and personas.
I've done freelance work in collaboration with many local clients across DFW to design custom, coded-from-scratch websites, and digital assets.
I worked as a web consultant for a digital media company designing adaptive websites for small to medium-sized businesses, helping them stay competitive in this rapidly changing digital age.
I worked as a web and UX designer for one of the most prestigious private universities in the country, helping to refine and enhance its digital presence.
I now work as a UX Designer for one of the oldest telecommunications companies in the country, helping to create a Gigabit America.
